Website Design

How much does a website cost in Kenya?

Our website packages start from KES 25,000 for a professional 3–5 page business site. Landing pages start from KES 15,000. E-commerce sites with M-Pesa integration start from KES 80,000. Every package includes domain, hosting for the first year, WhatsApp integration, and mobile-first design. See our full website design pricing here.

How long does it take to build a website?

Landing pages: 3–5 working days. Standard business websites: 7–14 working days. E-commerce and complex sites: 3–6 weeks. Timelines begin after the 50% deposit is received and all required content (logo, photos, copy) has been supplied.

Will my website work on mobile phones?

Yes β€” every website we build is mobile-first. Over 80% of Kenyan internet users access the web on their phone, so mobile performance is our primary design standard. We test all sites on multiple Android and iPhone screen sizes before delivery.

Do you include WhatsApp on websites you build?

Always. Every website we build includes a floating WhatsApp button linked to your business number, with a pre-filled message. This is the single highest-converting feature for Kenyan websites and we include it as standard.

Do I own my website after it’s built?

Yes β€” completely. You own the domain, the hosting account, and all files. We transfer full access to you on delivery. We never lock clients into proprietary systems.

Do you build websites for businesses outside Nairobi?

Yes. We serve businesses across Kenya β€” Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Nyeri, and beyond. Everything is done remotely and we have never needed to visit a client in person to build their website.

Bulk SMS

How much does bulk SMS cost in Kenya?

Our SMS units are priced from KES 0.60 per SMS for the starter package down to KES 0.30 per SMS at high volumes. A 1,000 SMS campaign costs KES 600. A 10,000 SMS campaign costs KES 5,000. See our full Bulk SMS pricing page for all tiers.

Do the SMS credits expire?

No β€” Metridata SMS units never expire. Load credits when you need them and use them at your own pace. There is no pressure to use them by a deadline.

Can I send SMS on both Safaricom and Airtel?

Yes. Our platform delivers to all Kenyan networks β€” Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom β€” in one send.

What is a Sender ID and do I need one?

A Sender ID is your business name appearing as the sender of your SMS instead of a random phone number. For example, recipients see “METRIDATA” instead of “+2547XXXXXXXX”. It is not mandatory but significantly improves open rates and brand recognition. Registration costs KES 6,500 per network and requires your Company Registration Certificate, KRA PIN, and a Letter of Authorization.

Can I integrate SMS with my website or system?

Yes. Every Metridata SMS account includes API credentials that you can use to integrate with your website, CRM, app, or any REST API-compatible platform. We also provide developer support for integration at KES 8,000.

Digital Marketing and SEO

How long does SEO take to show results in Kenya?

Most businesses see meaningful movement in local keyword rankings within 3–6 months of consistent SEO work. Specific local searches (e.g. “clinic Westlands”) often rank faster β€” within 6–10 weeks with proper optimisation. SEO compounds over time β€” rankings earned in month 3 continue generating traffic for years.

How much does social media management cost in Kenya?

Our social media management packages start from KES 12,000 per month for one platform. This includes content creation, posting, scheduling, and a monthly performance report. Full multi-platform management with ads starts from KES 40,000 per month.

How much should I spend on Facebook or Google Ads in Kenya?

A meaningful starting budget for Facebook Ads in Kenya is KES 10,000–15,000 per month in ad spend. For Google Ads, KES 15,000–20,000 per month is a realistic starting point for most industries in Nairobi. Ad spend is paid directly to Meta or Google β€” separate from Metridata’s management fee.

Do you offer Google Business Profile setup?

Yes. We set up and fully optimise your Google Business Profile β€” the free listing that appears on Google Maps and local search results. This is included in our SEO starter package and is also available as a standalone service.
