Learn Data Analysis by Doing It
Every programme is built around real datasets and weekly practical work, with small cohorts so you get feedback on your own work.
8 weeks, part-time
Data Analyst Foundations
Excel, SQL and Power BI from scratch. You clean messy data, answer questions with queries and build a dashboard from a dataset of your choice.
Best for: beginners and students in their final years.
16 weeks, part-time
Data Analyst Career Track
Everything in Foundations, plus Python, statistics and a capstone project. You finish with a portfolio piece, a CV review and practice explaining your findings to a non-technical audience.
Best for: graduates and career switchers aiming at junior analyst roles.
On campus or online
Campus Programmes
Workshops, short electives, student data clubs and lecturer training for universities, colleges and schools. Materials are adapted to your course units.
Best for: institutions that want to offer practical data skills.

For Universities, Colleges and Schools
Many students graduate without ever opening a real dataset. We help institutions close that gap with formats that fit a timetable:
- Two-day hands-on workshops for a whole class or department.
- Short electives or clubs that run across a term.
- Data challenge days where students work on a real problem in teams.
- Training for lecturers and trainers who want to teach data skills themselves.
Delivery is on campus or online, and subsidised rates are available for eligible institutions (see the Student Access Programme below). Send us your course units, class size and timetable and we will propose a format and a price.
What to Expect, Honestly
- Nobody can honestly promise you a job. We promise practical skills, feedback on your own work and portfolio projects you can show.
- Learners who complete a programme receive a Metridata certificate of completion. It is not a university degree or a professional-body accreditation.
- Power BI Desktop runs on Windows only. If you use a Mac, ask us before you enrol.
- You do not need to code to start. Foundations assumes no experience.

Sales, customers, operations or programme results. You bring the question, we bring the analysis and a written answer with the evidence behind it.
Forecasting and Predictive Modelling
Demand forecasts, customer segments and churn models in Python, used where a model genuinely beats a good spreadsheet. We will tell you when it does not.
Marketing and Web Analytics
We already run digital marketing for clients, so we can connect Google Analytics, ad platforms and your sales records and show which spend actually produces customers.

We hand over what we build and train the people who will run it, so you are not dependent on us for every report.
How a Consultancy Project Works
Fixed scope and fixed price, agreed before we start
STEP 1
Scope
A short call about the decision you need to make and the data you have. We sign an NDA before you share anything sensitive.
STEP 2
Check the data
We look at a sample first and tell you honestly whether it can answer your question.
STEP 3
Analyse and build
We do the analysis, build the dashboards or models and send findings in plain language with the working shown.
STEP 4
Hand over
Your team gets the files, documentation and a walkthrough. Ongoing support is optional.

How We Handle Your Data
- An NDA and data-processing terms are signed before any data is shared.
- Work happens in accounts and tools you approve, with access limited to named people.
- We delete your data at the end of the project if you ask us to.
- We follow Kenya’s Data Protection Act and will work to your GDPR requirements.
- If your procurement requires a certification such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, tell us at the start and we will say plainly whether we hold it.
STUDENT ACCESS PROGRAMME
Making Data Skills Affordable for Students
Money should not be the reason a student never touches a real dataset. We reduce the cost in two ways, and we invite sponsors to help.
Scholarships for individual learners
A limited number of places in each Foundations and Career Track cohort are offered at up to half the standard fee. They go to students and recent graduates who show financial need and a genuine commitment to finish.
Apply with a short note about your situation and what you want to do with the skills. We reply before the cohort starts.
Subsidised campus workshops
Public universities, TVET colleges and schools can book the two-day workshop from KES 60,000 instead of KES 120,000, for up to 30 students. The reduced rate is offered on a limited basis each term.
Send us your institution, department and the number of students and we will confirm whether a subsidised slot is open.
Sponsor a student or a campus
Companies, NGOs and foundations can fund scholarship places or a whole campus workshop. Sponsors choose the institution or the group of learners, and we report on attendance and what the students built.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need coding experience?
No. Data Analyst Foundations starts from zero. You need to be comfortable using a computer and working with basic maths and percentages.
What do I need to join online?
A laptop and a stable internet connection. The software we use is free. Power BI Desktop runs on Windows only, so if you use a Mac please ask us before you enrol.
Will I get a job after the course?
We cannot promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What you get is practical skills, feedback on your own work and portfolio projects you can show to employers.
Do you issue certificates?
Yes. Learners who complete a programme receive a Metridata certificate of completion. It is not a university degree or a professional-body accreditation.
Do you offer scholarships or discounts for students?

Can you work with organisations outside Kenya?
Yes. Consultancy projects run remotely and we work in USD, GBP or EUR. We are in Nairobi (UTC+3), which overlaps with European working hours and with US East Coast mornings.
